- Time: We will highlight the Texas back-to-school tax-free weekend and National Tooth Fairy Day to remind us about dental health. August is also the National Water Quality Month. It's time to be aware of the water quality and protect it. To improve time management, we will refresh the welcome.30-day productivity challenge by practicing multiple productivity methods and experiencing their effectiveness.
- Energy: Zen is a healthy lifestyle that calms our mind to stay focused and enjoy present moments. Our discussions will explore ways to practice mindfulness and fun Zen challenges to play.
- Attention: We will revisit the framework thinking by delving into its building blocks, the mental models. According to the book "Super Thinking" these models are shortcuts to higher-level thinking, enhancing our ability to solve problems and make wise decisions.
- Life Planning: We discuss four levels of plans as the foundation to pursue personal growth and success.
- Skill Not Taught in School: We update our discussion on essential life skills not taught in school, including self-discipline, exercise, meditation, personal finance, active listening, communication, honesty, leadership, and decision-making.
