SUKEE TEA TIME
Bring peace and thoughtful moments.

Teatime Newsletter | 2024.05 May

5/1/2024

It's hard to believe that five months have already passed in 2024. As we approach the middle of the year, it's a good time to revisit our New Year's resolutions and recalibrate our goals. Futhermore, we will continue with our usual TEA time agenda:
  • Time: May begins with Mother’s Day, followed by Memorial Day and the Texas Energy Star and Water-Efficient Products Sales Tax Holiday. It’s always time to cheer for a new month and take another chance to begin again and get it right.
  • Energy:We will review the definitions of success and failure by identifying the right problems and making the best choices. We will focus on what is real and what we can do rather than waste time on issues that may never happen. Most importantly, we will stay positive and appreciate what we already have.
  • Attention: This month's learning continues the journey of framework thinking. We will explore how asking the right questions can help us think and communicate.
Make sure to check back for the publication of each topic. We might even add some unplanned issues throughout the month, so stay alert for pleasant surprises!
  • How to build a quality life and feel accomplished.
We wish you a peaceful and relaxed month. If you have any questions or a particular topic you are interested in, please feel free to leave a comment.

Warm regards,
Sukee Parker

"The Art of Thinking Clearly" is a book by  Rolf  Dobelli, which consists of 99 brief chapters, each addressing a cognitive bias or logical fallacy that can distort our thinking. Dobelli explores various psychological phenomena that affect decision-making and provides practical insights on recognizing and mitigating these biases. The book is filled with engaging anecdotes and examples, encouraging readers to adopt more precise, rational thinking patterns.

“The failure to think clearly, or what experts call a “cognitive error,” is a systematic deviation from logic—from optimal, rational, reasonable thought and behavior.” - Rolf Dobelli
