The first impression is essential when connecting with a new person. We'd like to share with you something that you can be prepared.

• Pay attention to your appearance. Statistics show people did pay attention to how you look for their initial impression. Manage yourself with a genie smile, a clean hand with polished nails, clean teeth, spotless shoes, groomed hair, and a neat dress. 
• ​Look at people in the eye. Direct eye contact exhibits sincerity and confidence. A trick to do this is to figure out our people's eye color. 
• Speak with a clear message. Consider using the following expression when explaining your competency: 
  • I was responsible for … or It was my responsibility to ….
  • The result was … 
  • I collaborated with … to accomplish … 
  • I took the initiative to … 
  • I lead my team to …. 
  • When … happen, I resolve the problem by … 
  • The measurable result is …. The result was … 

​Last but not least, listen and ask questions to connect with your audience. You will be surprised how they enjoy your accompany when you make people talk and laugh.
