Career | Why You Need Excellent Interview Skills

There was a story where a school teacher complained to a priest about how hard she worked, yet she was still underpaid. 
 "Then, go out and get a high-paid job. Can you find one?" The priest asked.
"It could be difficult to find one." 
The priest said, "Then, you are not underpaid. What is paid is your market value..."

The stories tell an essential principle of economic value. The value of a service or a job is decided by the demands and how much the market is willing to pay for it. If you think you are underpaid or want to earn more, find a job that can pay for what you need. This means you need to find a job, and you have to go through interviews. Interview skill is fundamental to realizing the true validate yourself in the job market. 

The suggestion is to prepare for the interviews. Keep your eyes open for better positions. Keep finding a job that you see fulfills your full option and gives you fair pay. The goal of gaining interview skills is not to fake or pretend who you are but to show your full potential in front of others and let others see your capability. It's unfortunate many excellent candidates failed to do so and lost opportunities.​
