PM Career | Standardize to Reduce Conflict

People still have conflict when each is hardworking and like to achieve a good result. PMO can set up a standardized process to avoid conflict.

Define responsibilities. There should be no responsibility ambiguity. Some time categorization is needed. Using the RACI matrix can be helpful. 

Document requirements well so the dev team and function team can collaborate well. 

Standardized processes can help the team know what to do next and thus drive high-quality results where everyone will be happy with the result, hence less conflict. ​

Relationships can cushion conflict, but the process is more important to prevent competition from happening. ​
