Your Money or Your Life (1992)

What is it about? Your Money or Your Life is a book about what money is and what our relationship should be with money.

Why bother? The book makes us rethink our relationship with money. Earning money is necessary but should not occupy all of our time. Otherwise, Ms. Robin, the author, calls it "make a dying." ​

Key Ideas The fulfillment chart reflects the book's central message: Money is our life energy, not handcuffs. Money makes us survive, feel comfortable, and gratify our pride. However, there is a point when spending more money on material life will not make us happier. The author suggested several bits of intelligence on money management:

• Spending within the income
• Being frugal in our living -With our survival and reasonably comfortable coverage, We should not spend too much on other living items. 
• Spending more on our values and the purpose of life.
