Notes | Catch-22 (1961)

Catch-22 talks about a 28 years old solider, Yossarian,  in World War II. He thought that he was in constant danger through no fault of his own.  He wanted to go home but was trapped by the contradictory rules called Catch-22. Therefore, he hides in the hospital by faking various illnesses to avoid the war and keep himself alive.

The novel also tells the stories about people around Yossarian. It's a different story of war. Catch--22, is now used to describe being trapped in circumstances because of contradictory rules.​
