![]() The 80/20 Principle by Richard Koch explains that both life and business are surprisingly in an unbalanced state: 20% of our work leads to 80% of the outcome; 20% of our customers bring 80% of the profits. Therefore, we don’t need to work with everyone and work on everything. The 80/20 principle suggests reaching out to the 20% most valuable customers, spending time with 20% of people who care about you, and working on the 20% of tasks that lead to 80% of the outcome. Because of the 80/20 principle, we would rather work smarter than harder. It reminds there are ways to get things done more efficiently.
