Chat | National Tooth Fairy Day

2/28/2023

National Tooth Fairy Day is celebrated on February 28 and August 22nd each year to honor the beloved childhood myth that brings joy to young children when they lose a tooth. The origin of this whimsical tradition is rooted in various cultural folklore and superstitions from around the world, but it became more popular in the early 20th century in the United States. On this day, children excitedly place their lost teeth under their pillows before bedtime, eagerly awaiting a visit from the Tooth Fairy who replaces the tooth with a small monetary reward or gift. The holiday brings delight and comfort to kids, symbolizing a rite of passage into growing up.

Let's take this opportunity to discuss dental health, such as what is the correct way to brush our teeth (use naturally flavored toothpaste and start with a toothbrush from the junction of the gums and teeth, brushing along the seams.), how to use dental floss (daily use unwaxed or naturally waxed, PTFE&PFAS-free floss with no Cetylpyridinium Chloride or Teflon. The floss should be scraped deep into the bottom of the gum to scrape the residue, and the part of the floss in contact with the teeth is not repeated), which dental procedures can help close the black triangle (Bioclear), and how to prevent periodontal disease and gingival atrophy (Wash use oil pulling with coconut oil or mouth wash without alcohol).

Also, remember to perform dental checks and teeth cleaning every 6 months. Wishing you have healthy teeth.

Chat | Life Planning

2/19/2023

Life planning can be summarized into four levels: degree is a bronze, ability is silver, social network is gold, and thinking is trump.
No matter what and ideal life is in our minds, our desire to explore the world with continuous improvement remains the same. Life planning can form four progression levels as the foundation to pursue our personal growth and success.

The "bronze" level focuses on obtaining education which is crucial in expanding our knowledge, recognizing our limitations, developing critical thinking skills, and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth. It is the foundation for success.

The "silver" second level emphasizes the development of abilities and skills. This includes continuous learning, practical expertise, and improving in areas of interest and passion. Gaining proficiency in specific domains enhances effectiveness and leads to greater success in life.

The "gold" third level highlights the importance of building a strong social network. Nurturing meaningful relationships, connecting with others, and cultivating a supportive community contribute to personal well-being and professional growth. A solid social network provides valuable resources, support, and collaboration opportunities.

The "trump" level encompasses the power of positive thinking and mindset. Adopting a growth-oriented attitude and cultivating strategic thinking and framework thinking abilities are key to overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities. Developing problem-solving skills, resilience, and adaptability enables individuals to navigate life's complexities with confidence.

By investing in each of these areas, we can cultivate a well-rounded approach to personal growth and success. The next step? We have to put ideas into action to eventually progress to the life we envision. Most of the time, it's more difficult.

Chat | Starting a Family Tradition

2/12/2023

Because family is the most important asset in life, and our life is meaningful only when we can focus on our important things, we need to focus on family to live a meaningful life. If you agree with the simple logic, starting a family tradition would be the right choice.

The traditions can be anything the family will do together regularly, such as a simple call every Sunday night to catch up. The practice establishes a sense of identity and belonging, thus security within the family, and strengthens joined values.

The traditions help us take family life as a priority. When life is demanding, we tend to give our loved ones our leftovers rather than our best. When we set our family tradition, we secure our time,

Other than regular gatherings, there are some great occasions in the year when we can set up with our loved ones, including Mother's Day brunch, Father's Day outings, birthday celebrations, Thanksgiving back home day, and holiday gatherings. Think of something that is resignation to yourself.

Enjoy family time. It's a blessing in life after we have them.

Chat | Creating a Blog

2/5/2023

"You'll quit worrying about what others think about you when you realize how rarely they actually think about you."
There's no need to conform to clichés or try to please anyone in a blog. 4.4 million blogs are created daily. We can easily get lost if our focus is not always the authenticity and valuable content. It's about expressing our unique perspectives, experiences, and ideas without worrying about fitting into a specific mold.

A personal blog gives us the freedom to be ourselves and share what truly matters to us and people alike. By staying true to our voice, we can build genuine connections. So, our blogs are our natural expressions and meaningful conversations.
Sukee's Note (2/5/2023): I created many blogs before this, but I take this blog as my check to complete creating my personal blog, sharing thoughts, findings, and ideas. (Status: The blog is still evolving to be better. )
