“ Comparison is the thief of joy,”
1. Stop the comparison game
Are you used to asking yourself, "Why is she more beautiful than I?" "Why she looks younger than I do?" "Why he has a better job and get promoted more quickly than I do?"... All these outcomes from engaging in matchups, a mental game where we compare our worst to someone else's best. You don't have to do this. How would you compare an orange and an apple? Be happy with who you are or do something to make a change. Don't compare yourself with others. Compare it with yourself.
2. No one is perfect
Understand this truth: perfection is not a destination you can reach. However, you are constantly evolving and transforming through your mistakes, successes, talents, and shortcomings. So, be gentle and understanding with yourself, just as you would with a dear friend.
3. Define Yourself by Who You Are
You are not defined by your position, your house, your hairstyle, or your clothes. You are defined by what you think, what you do, and how you communicate. Your true self is not determined by external factors, but by your thoughts, actions, and interactions with others.
4. It's OK to live without a plan
Work needs a plan. Travel requires a plan. Children's study needs a plan. However, you don't have to live on a plan and keep shooting a list of targets. Sometimes, it's OK to take a break from planning and go with the flow. When you feel like it, take a day and live without a plan. Go out to see a show. Forget about the laundry. Watch a movie randomly. Search for something on the internet at will. Don't push yourself. Live like a child for a day and see if that makes you happy.
5. No need to prove to others
There is no need to prove yourself to others. Sometimes, there is no right or wrong. We all have different points of view. So be yourself.
Each of us is a unique being in nature, so be proud of it. Be proud of yourself.
