Our emotions are an interesting existence. They first came as protections. We fear when there is a danger. We are angry when there is a threat. We feel sadness to heal trauma. These protections are valuable to a certain extent. The point is to stop it when it finishes its job. Get out of anger, fear, and sorrow shortly and move on.
Some emotions, like joy, peace, and gratefulness, are not only good for our health and relationships but also for our personal growth. The challenge is they don't come naturally. We have to practice making them part of life to nurture positivity. Other emotions are simply on the dark side. They are resentment, jealousy, control, procrastination, and pride. One common effect of these emotions is that they all stop us from growing as a person. Resentment and jealousy put the blame on others. Pride blinds our eyes to advancements.
Take a moment to go through all of the current emotions in your mind. Note them down, accept them, and then release them, whether it is an up or down. We empty our current emotional baggage so we can get ready for the next adventure. We are loved, blessed by the beautiful nature as we are part of it, part of its wonder, cheer up and celebrate life.
