Chat | What to Read: How to Do the Work

6/30/2024

What does a day look like when you get up? Do you feel excited and looking forward to the new day of experience? If it is not, let's try to get a peaceful moment—a serene moment— to entertain our mind before starting. And this is our Tea Time today. We will read a book How to Do the Work: Recognize Your Patterns, Heal from Your Past, and Create Your Self by Dr. Nicole Lepera and find out why more than 15K people gives it a high 4.8 rating on Amazon.

The book is a practical guide for self-healing, recognizing destructive patterns, processing past trauma, and creating a healthier, more fulfilling life. This requires self-awareness, mindfulness, and daily habits such as journaling, breathwork, and regulating the nervous system. These practices advocate for personal accountability, setting boundaries, and pursuing holistic well-being. "Healing is not an end state; it is a lifelong journey," encouraging consistent steps toward self-growth, emotional balance, and inner peace.

Teatime | Write a Poem

6/18/2024

If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?
It's always delightful when reading a poem like Percy Bysshe Shelley's "Ode to the West Wind" (1820). However, I'm not quite ready to write one of my own. To enjoy a delightful moment with poetry, I've turned to ChatGPT for assistance. The poem is about the experience of Hauser's Rebel with a Cello concert. The Croatian cellist's vibrant and engaging performance style resonates well with the audience and creates an intimate experience for his fans.  The prompt I give is: Can you make a short poem that vividly describes a rock music concert where people, filled with anticipation and excitement, are thrilled to see their favorite cello musician and are enthusiastically singing along?  The result is quite satisfying.
In the heart of the crowd,
the lights start to fade,
Excitement erupts as the shadows parade.

A cello gleams bright,
its strings start to sing,
The rock rhythm blends with the classical swing.

Lyrics fly on wings of fire,
Uniting all in shared desire.
Colors spread like roses wild,
Where rock’s pure heart fiercely smiled.

Cheers rise as chords embrace,
In rock’s eternal, fiery space.
A single night, forever caught,
In the spell that music wrought.

Chat|Be Your Own Person

6/2/2024

In today's chat, let's discuss the importance of being true to ourselves and how to assert our individuality. Life is complex and challenging, especially when external influences attempt to sway our decisions and control our lives.

For example, you were looking at a tempting cake in the show window. Just about stepping forward, your husband said, "We need to control our sugar intake." Does the sugar control have to be done at that moment and on that specific-looking tasty cake? Probably not. But you stopped. Hey! Your dear husband is influencing.

Traveling in Europe, I saw many travelers holding cameras and talking. They are creating a travel log for YouTube. I wonder how many surrounding details they will miss if they can relax, emerge into the mid-century town, and feel the time passing through these pebble-paved roads and well-architected houses. I am sure their mind is occupied at least 40% by their imagined viewers. Do they need to please their audience? Do they lose some of their own from this? Hell Yes!

Where am I, and where am I heading? What am I thinking? What do I enjoy? Who would I be with, and who would I care about? All of these answers tell me who I want to be.

I will talk to you later. I need my time now, and so do you. Make your own time, space, and decisions—that's your birthright. Have a great day. I enjoy talking to you and hope you feel the same.
