We can't imagine a person who barely survives, like a beggar at traffic lights, having a quality life.
After fulfilling our basic needs, we want to have good quality around the place we live, the food we eat, and the clothes we wear. Here, wise judgment should kick in. A minimalist lifestyle can help reduce living costs, be environmentally friendly, and maintain quality. For example, we should have only needed clothes and use them fully. We should invest in clothes that are comfortable and of good quality. We should aim for whole foods, vegetables, and non-GMO foods that are good for our health and prevent diseases. Our house should be spacious and cozy and have everything necessary to make our life comfortable.
Once our basic needs are met, the pinnacle of a quality life is self-realization. It's about our personal aspirations, who we are, who we aspire to be, and what we want to accomplish. While these goals may differ for each individual, the pursuit of self-realization is a common thread. It's about creating a bucket list and starting to check off those items now. It's about living our values every day, setting goals, staying focused, and consistently contributing to the values that make us proud of ourselves. This, my friends, is the essence of a quality life.
