How to organize your personal notes
Earlier, we talked about Digital Decluttering with Apple Notes knowing Apple Notes is a good note-taking tool. In this blog, we'll talk about organizing notes with a simple structure where all the content can be found and properly categorized. We only need four folders for all the notes:
- The Contact folder saved all the contact information, including people and business contacts. The business contact includes our favorite airline services, restaurant services, doctors, and others. We use tags within the contact content to further differentiate different types of contacts.
- The Journal folder collects all the journals and the time-sensitive articles. Therefore, all the journals start with a date.
- The Project folder will include a series of subfolders that save our major life projects. Each project folder will start with a year and the project name so that later on, we can easily filter out what year we have done what project.
- The Knowledge folder includes all the knowledge sharing, such as sharing a video we watch on YouTube, a web page we read on the websites, and all the easy sharing of Apple notes when a quick note is created. When we organize these notes, we can easily use the Smart Folder feature in Apple Note to categorize these notes using the created date, last updated date, and tags.
