Ethics help us navigate situations with good choices. We call this "reading the air" or "reading the room." It's enjoyable to read suggestions on manners. Sarah Ho's Mind Your Manners book provides some interesting tips. 

Firstly, at a Chinese dinner, the parents cook to show love, and the children eat to express acceptance of love. If someone offers you a second helping, saying yes is polite. However, it would help if you chose a smaller piece to show respect and affection.

This is polite and respectful behavior. Additionally, it is essential to introduce newcomers to a community to make them feel welcome and help them integrate into the community you are building.

Thirdly, choose what to say and not say. If you must tell the harsh truth, soften your suggestions with your experience or mistakes.
