The garden is not permanent. No matter how hard we spend our time to make our garden. Perfect. It is never perfect. There are various factors, such as harsh winter weather conditions, wild animal wire damage, and the presence of wild plants. The heated and Arid summer in Texas put a lot of plants to the test. We are struggling between protecting them and the restriction of watering from the city.
The garden gives surprises. We were pleasantly surprised to find a peach tree growing in the corner of our garden, likely due to us throwing peach remains there some time ago.
Although gardens are transient like life, I still put effort into building them because they make us happy. No matter how many plans we make, new ones can always be added to the garden, just like life constantly renews itself. We had chickens in our garden for a while. These little creatures made us enjoy it, but it also required effort, especially when dealing with their food and the rats that came with it. Everything comes with a price.
