Metta Meditation | Letting Go11/16/2023 “If you want change in your life, then you are the one who must do the changing.” Letting go is an adventure. It involves a treasure hunt to explore our thoughts and beliefs, identifying the things we need to release. Through this process, we seek inner peace, love, and the freedom we deserve in life. This inner enlightenment has the power to heal not only ourselves but also the world around us. Say to yourself “I am willing to leg go.” This is the first step. You may feel resistance like discomfort, a bit angry or reason in you mind that explain why you can’t letting certain thing go because… This is natural and we will start from here. Take a moment to reflect on your negative thoughts and identify a time when you said to yourself, "I choose to let it go." Allow yourself to feel the power within you and the sense of relief that comes with it. Remember that our decisions shape our lives, and we have the power to make choices. Let go of anger. Let go of sorrow. Let go of fear. Let go of regrets. To let go of unnecessary distractions and noises, focus on what you have and cherish in your life. Be grateful for your family and friends, and let go of unpleasant relationships that do not serve you. You are constantly creating new memories, so why waste your time and energy on unpleasant experiences? Embrace self-disruption and proactively accept change, instead of playing it safe.
